How to Help

Volunteer

As a CASA volunteer, you can help change a child’s story.

#ChangeAChildsStory

CASA of Southern Connecticut seeks committed volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care.

A CASA volunteer is a trained community volunteer who is appointed by a juvenile court judge to advocate for the best interests of a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers are required to complete 30 hours of pre-service training and submit to screening and background checks.  You must be 21 years of age or older.  (Answers to FAQs may be helpful.)

Volunteers are currently needed in New Haven, New London, and Middlesex counties.  If you’re interested, please contact: volunteer@CASAsouthCT.org or 203.800.5661.
